    Have you looked through the listings on the left? DVD PLAYERS. There's prices, links, details, owner comments and reports on media used with various models.

    I have the phillips dvd-711. I bought it when it first came out, which was probably about 3 years ago or so. It has played every disk that I have put in it from cd-r's to vcds (I don't think I even convereted anything just burned an mpeg to a cd-r and it played it) and it plays dvd-r and dvd+r. I think it's a good little player, should be pretty cheap now to since it's been out for so long.
