    Are there any powerful audio editors which can handle 5.1 Ch audio and export to AC3?if not, are there any 5.1 ch plugins for normal audio editors?And, does the Sonic Foundry SoftEncode encode fully compliant 5.1 Ch AC3 files?

    Sony Vegas w/ DVDA (includes dolby EX)

    ProTools w/ AC3 plugin

    Sonic Foundry SoftEncode - yes
