Damn it! I just started this job about two months ago after getting laid off form my last one and being unemployed for about 4 months. Who else is in the same boat or seems to be headed there?

The place I work at has been hiring lately. But then again, I don't work for a dot com company or anything like that. How sure are you fo getting laid off again?

Well, the sporting goods company I currently work for is moving to another location in the same city. I was talking to my supervisor and she said that it sounds like upper management is debating whether to keep new hires from the last three months or let them all go. She said she'd give me enought notice but so far they're going to move next week and I haven't heard anything. It's happened to me twice before where they don't tell you anything until the last day and I'd hate for it to happen again.

Of course! Employers expect you to give 2 weeks notice, but rarely ever tell anyone ahead of time if they are getting laid off.

  6. While I regularly wouldn't recommend violence or illegal action, in this case, I think you should do something "that will change the world forever."

Your sacrifice will make it clear to corporations that employees should be treated with due respect and are not mere objects to be ill treated or thrown away when a more efficent option is discovered. Or at least fear of violence will keep them from acting cruel.

However, this requires careful, meticulous planning. This has to be even bigger than the World Trade Center to really make a difference. It has to hit them deep in their pockets to get their attention.

In the meantime, I recommend you watch Office Space, Fight Club, Hannibal and read The Water Margin. Viva Revolution!

    P.S.
Don't worry brother, we will help you suceed in becomming a matyr to all of the working class.
