I picked up a 25-pack of GQ 4x DVD-R from Fry's Electronics, thinking they would be Ritek again. Not this time. They are branded PioData with LeadData media ID, no Media ID speed, and a 4x write strategy..

My online order won't be here for a few more days.. and I've got maybe 7 discs left, and I need about 18. I can either use them or return the for a full refund ($42 after tax).

Should I use these? Or not? You decide. 8)

Best Buy and CompUSA both have disks on sale that would get you through the crisis. I think TDK at Comp, and don't remember brand at BB.
Hope is the trap the world sets for you every night when you go to sleep and the only reason you have to get up in the morning is the hope that this day, things will get better... But they never do, do they?

LORDSMURF! DON'T USE THEM! These discs will flake out on you in the long run. They will start to skip and freeze while playing (assuming you're going to put movies on them). They don't do it at first, but with extended play, they will begin to do it.

My order from RIMA came early, so back to the store these go... The PioData looked nice (purple clean bottom), and the LEADDATA01 had decent reviews, but I wasn't sure... not a problem anymore... I've got a large stack of RITEK here again.
