    I just purchased one of these cards to use in expanding my hard disk capacity. I am having trouble with it at the moment, I don't want to use it as a raid card at this time, is there a way to turn the raid off?. I have looked through the book it came with, 8 pages of junk. Even on the net i haven't found any useful info. I just want to use one hard drive on it for a start- get another HD shortly.

    Dosen't matter now anyway. Decided I didn't need a raid setup, so just after a pci-ide controller card instead. hopefully will get that before too long.
