I'm trying to backup a DVD9 to a single DVDR disc following this guide:

My DVD has 1 audio track (Japanese), and 2 subtitle tracks (Chinese and English). I'm having some trouble with SubRip and was wondering what format the subtitles I demux from the VOB files with smartripper/DVD decrypter are in?

Can I convert them to a useable format?
