  1. If ya need 25 discs and can't wait for internet shipping, that's not a bad deal.

  2. damn! I saw the 40% off thing late last night, but they didn't have the prices changed... I was counting on getting a bunch of the DVD-R 10-Packs for $14.99! That's a deal, but the 40% off must include the rebate if you do the math on any of them, so you can only get one and must deal with the rebate, that's BS- they don't say 40% off after rebate.

The Fuji 10 pack DVD-Rs at $14.99 after $5 rebate is a pretty good deal. Those are usually 4X TY media and that's a better price than you can get TY for via mail order.

The Fuji DVD-R bulk pack (25, 50 & 100) media is Ritek G03 and works out to be around $1.33 after tax/rebate which isn't that good of a deal. You can get G03 with the silver matted surface from Supermediastore for about $0.92 each shipped.

The Fuji DVD+R bulk pack is Ricoh and will burn at 4X most of the time. It costs the same as the 2X DVD-R so if you have a combo burner definitely go for +R or at least the TY Fuji 10 packs as they are the better values in this offer.

  4. Are you just guessing or is there some merit to the 10 pack Fujis being 4x TY?

No, I'm not guessing. I have bought 3 10 packs and they have all been TY 4X media. The outer packaging says 'made in Japan' and 'up to 4X' on the lower left front corner of the box. YMMV of course but I know for sure what I have got when buying this media.
