Hello everyone.
I guess I am going to open a can of worms but
I really have no idea which product should I choose from all
above and I would really appreciate your help.
My main purpose is to convert home made VHS'S to DVD'S.
I have an ATI AIW 8500DV card and I am looking for a unit
that will convert my ANALOG signal to Digital signal .
I read good things about both the AVT-8710 and the ADVC-100,
the only reason that I added the PYRO A/V Link is that
the price is about 100$ less and they claim that they product
is identical (if not better) to the Canopus ADVC-100 .
As a newbie I have no clue if that's really the case .

Pyro A/V Specs :

Thanks guys.
Jerry.

why don't you use your ATI AIW?? it's perfect to do the job. You can even choose from capping in AVI or MPEG-2.
Is there any reason so you do not use it at all???
Let us know.
And the AVT is a TBC, not a capture card/device!
check it out http://www.ati.com/products/radeon8500/aiwradeon8500dv/index.html
