I'm doing a psych paper where I have to analyze parenting styles(control vs. warmth) and I have to watch two different TV families to observe some parenting styles displayed. I picked 7th heaven(its pretty much all about that) and family guy(they dont have to be real). I was thinking about the episode where chris gets kicked out of the scouts and they lose their car to the indian casino...does anyone know what the name of that episode is? If you do, have a better episode I should consider, or know a completely different show to make my paper easier, let me know.
Thanks
PS-I already considered the simpsons and decided against it

Hmmm, well if you wanted to use two more similiar comparisons, rather than one being a cartoon, first thing that comes to mind is Roseann.
I think that was one of the firsts that showed the "average" family (and income levels) and had more realistic familial interaction to "middle America" than most others.
I love Family Guy :c) But no parent - in their right minds - would pull the stuff Peter does. :cDThere's no place like 127.0.0.1
The Rogue Pixel: Pixels are like elephants. Every once in a while one of them will go nuts. -
Peter: Oh my God! Brian, there's a message in my Alphabits. It says 'OOOOO'.
Brian: Peter, those are Cheerios. His name was MackemX
What kind of a man are you? The guy is unconscious in a coma and you don't have the guts to kiss his girlfriend? -
Peter: Sorry pal, I don't take coupons from giant chikens....not after last time.
(shows a 3 min fight scene with a chiken) -
Thanks tgpo...and Gees, I chose family guy becuase it's highly unlikely a parent would do what peter does and I think I can pull it off fairly easily, although I liked your suggestion about rosanne, thanks.
Conquest, DVD, and G_shocker...
Those are some hilarious moments...and G_shocker's avatar reminded me of a good one(nice avatar BTW)
Quagmire: Hey Brian whats with the getup?
Joe: Meet our newest narc...he's a natural.
Quagmire: Oh yeah...well how good are ya?
Brian: *sniff sniff* You went to manila, you had ___ for dinner and then you made love to two costa rican women *sniff sniff* and a man.
Quagmire: You mean three costa rican women....oh god...NOOOOOOOOO -
OK, I saw the "The son also draws" episode but it didnt give me as much info as I needed...can anyone recommend another episode from the series that displays parenting styles?

The one where Peter teaches Meg to drive. He kills cable TV and goes crazy. And he says that Meg was driving the car.

Thats a good one!! Do you happen to know the name of it? It'll make it easier to find rather than going to chapter menu. Thanks again.
