  1. for some reason when i play an avi (xvid) the video goes mostly green (except a couple of multi-colored blocks) and doesn't show. The audio plays fine, Gspot says it is a xvid video and that the file length is correct. I have installed every xvid codec i have found yet none of them show the video. anyone got any idea at all why this is happening?

    thanks

  2. Tried the newest version? Are you using WinAmp to view? I got a similar problem when using winamp. Anyway try to use another player...

Do a search on this page - upper right for "green xvid". Lots of threads about it. See which things apply to you or that you may have tried so far.
