weird font italics in winxp cant be changed

Im getting italic fonts in winxp ie6 on most of the sites,not all fonts are italics but about 50% are,i`ve tried changing the fonts in ie option but no luck.Anyone know how to reset the fonts?

Hmmm that's a tough one.

All I can think of is "reset web settings" under tools in IE6
