I just bought this printer and I thought it printed very well,
The prints to start with were fine but after about 15 prints it seems to have a bit of a problem.
All the prints now seem to have very fine lines running through the print very noticable on the black but not so much in the coloured areas, these lines seem to have a very faint look of red in them.
Its like a banding for want of a better explanation.
I cant understand it the darn thing is only two weeks old and I have it printing on photo quality paper in photo quality mode.
I have gone through the print head alighment process and the cleaning process but neither make any difference.
Has anyone else had similar problems with this printer or another epson and is there a remedy. Appreciate all coments

Sounds like you need to clean the print heads.
Have a 900 myself and find i'm doing it quite often. Find it far better if you dont leave it turned on when not in use.
If you are going to do some critial prints run a nozzel check first to make sure all are printing OK.Not bothered by small problems...
Spend a night alone with a mosquito -
Run the head check utility and see if you have a clog, then clean it if you do.
Hope is the trap the world sets for you every night when you go to sleep and the only reason you have to get up in the morning is the hope that this day, things will get better... But they never do, do they?
