I'm burning one menu to go with one 2 hour TV show (about 90 minutes). The MPEG2 file is 2.3GB approx., but the final project size is 3.1GB. There is no audio in the menu and I would assume the MPEG2 file doesn't need to be converted. Anyone tell me why the jump in size? I'd like to get 2 eps on this DVD, but unless I can shrink the MPEGs without recapturing them, I'm out of luck.

I think I've read that program always converts audio to pcm - much bigger. There's no place like 127.0.0.1

As much as I like DVDit! PE, I've taken a liking to TMPGENc DVD Author this past week. It's faster and take MPEG audio for my quick project where menu quality is not important.Want my help? Ask here! (not via PM!)
