  1. I'm trying to convert some .ogm files into SVCD using TMPGEnc. I setup everything just like I would any other file, but when I start conversion I get an error, "The error occured when ACM was initialized". I have the ACM decompressor installed (AC3ACM v0.4). Can anyone help me out?

edit: someone told me you could do this with just TMPGEnc but it seems I have to use graphedit. ignore this post :-p

  2. OK, I'm using GraphEdit, as in the .ogm->svcd guide (I'm seperating the audio and video, the audio is file->Ogg Spliter->Vorbis Decoder->Wav Dest->File Writer). The .avi is perfect, but the .wav is messed up. It won't even load in TMPGEnc, and winamp will play it, but parts of it are distorted and I can hear pops and scratches? Here is what winamp says about the wav file...

"PCM, 48000 Hz, 2 Channels, 32 bits per sample"

  3. ugggh, it never ends. I used virtualdubmod to get the .wav file, and converted it to .mp2 in TMPGEnc with no problem, but when I try to convert just the (soundless) .avi file to an svcd, it craps out (it completes pass 1 (analyze phase) then dies at 50%). can anyone help me out?

I managed to get it working, but the resulting .mpg is blank, all black. this is beyond annoying. does anyone know how to convert .ogm -> svcd? should I be posting in the advanced forum?

  4. I'm using graphedit to convert ogm to avi. In graphedit i use window media 2 intead of mped layer 3 and change avi mux from none to full. Once the file is convert into avi file, I then use a software call "Showbit that allow you to convert avi file to mpeg file (you have option to choose either to convert in vcd or dvd format.). This allow me to play the movie on the dvd player. Choosing dvd format, you can compress up to 2.5 hour of movies which is about 6 avi files

I was not able to convert the subtitle in the ogm to the avi file. If anyone knows how to this, please show me
    thanks
