  1. 1. I've been having problems trying to create a successful svcd. When i try to play my svcd in a dvd player, the audio and video comes out in slow motion, fragment like. When i increase the play speed in the dvd player it sorta corrects this problem, it allows the audio and video to flow. Any opinons?

    2. Some of my videos are already in mpeg format, is there anything special i have to do to get this onto an svcd?

    3. I use nero to burn my svcd's, the file i burn is just the mpg file, TMPGENC puts out. are there other files i'm suppose to be burning?

    Thanks

All different flavors of mpeg. You don't say what you used. Or what they were "already in".

There are different types of MPEG2 streams. They will play in your computer player, but aren't standard for a dvd player. A de-mux/re-mux will fix this.

Increase play speed? I think your player has issues. That or your bitrate is too high and it can't keep up (2x CD player speed). Try a sample 1800 CBR encode of 1 minute and see if the problem persists. Your symptoms sound like a bitrate is too high.
