Who remembers this series from TV? How amazing was it. I would love to see it released.

It was awesome, loved it and still remember it fondly. I managed to capture 10 or so episodes of it when it was on TV so I regularly watch them.
I too think they should be released on DVD as well as the two TV movies (although they werent as good).
I also remember about 3 or so months ago their was talk of a Macgyver movie in the works with either Richard Dean Anderson back as Macgyver or a younger actor playing either Macgyver himself or his son. -
NO! this series cannot be on DVD before the Ateam. After the A-Team whatever... but not before.

No way.
First Macgyver, then Mission Impossible (original TV series) then Wonder Woman, then you can have A Team. -
If Macgyver makes it to DVD, it should be packaged in Duct Tape!
Just what is this reality thing anyway? -
yea i used to watch and it is still broadcasted, well in uk it is. I think its Bravo 124.

You know that MacGyver is on TVLand as well, right?

I've been capturing all 3 shows when I can and experimenting with settings and seeing what looks the best and whether to go with CD or DVD.

Rumor is that they are making an A-Team movie. Once that hits theatres you can be sure they will release the series on DVD in region 1. They always do that to resurrect the hype around older shows. I just cannot imagine them using anyone other than Mr. T. But you know hollywood, they will probably cast Samuel L. Jackson like they always do.
MacGyver was great. It was like an action/adventure version of Mr. Wizard. It was really cool because alot of those (pencil + paperclip=bomb) things actually worked.
