I got a 25fps DivX video that I'd like to view on my NTSC DVD-player. I tried converting it to MPEG-2 30fps, but the audio got out of sync (even when I extracted the WAV beforehand).
Could I just convert this DivX to a PAL mepg-2 file and create a PAL DVD-R? Is there any reason my Pioneer 343 would reject this?

There is a very good chance your DVD player would play this fine. What your TV would do with it is another question
Only you can really find out the answer.
