Ok I'll try to make this as short as possible:-
I've downloaded two 700Meg mpegs(SVCD NTSC) which I'm wanting to convert to PAL and put on a DVDr with a menu, what I've done so far is joined the two mpegs together to create one big mpeg
then ran dvd2avi with the Forced Filmed option checked thus creating the audio and the *.d2v << which should be now PAL i think, then using VFAPI on the d2v file and CCE to make the mpv,
so now I have the mpv and the audio file(from dvd2avi) then using DVDlab to create my menu I import the mpv which is automatically ran through pulldown and then import the audio which is then automatically converted to 48 khz,
then I'll select complile DVD it will start muxing and I'll watch the first blue bar get to the end and everytime without fail when it reaches the end I'll get an error saying " A serious error occured duling compiling the files, the compile process cant continue and has been aborted. If you source files are non-elementary files, demultiplex then first and use the to compile the DVD again. If this didn't help try to re-encode the files. Make sure you use DVD compliant settings in your encoder" my question is, have I done anything wrong? what I did notice is if I was to remove the audio file from dvdlab and hit compile again I dont seem to get any error messages.
I've also tried using SVCD2DVD but had no look with that either got a strange error message with it and besides I don't think it converts to pal anyway.
Also I want to try to avoid using TMPGE encoder cos I think its pants, it seems everything I try to re-encode with it, it puts a very slight pause every couple of secs, although it is very very slight I know its there and I don't want to use it

Hey,
I think you need to go to the forum about encoding to get an anwer about converting NTSC to PAL cause I think your problem is that the through all your converting you got a broken file.Greatings,
