  1. hi i just ripped a dvd with dvd fab, opened dvd express in nero 6, draged video ts files dropped in box and burnt at 4x with my pioneer 106 and tried it on my pacific 1002 player and it played perfectly without a glitch, tried it on the ps2 and the colours were really bright and it started to pause halfway through, also tried it on my yelo player and the pic was awsome but started to pause towards the end? where am i going wrong peeps are there any software packages that burn nothing but working discs on all stand alone players if so please recomend????

    Hello again :c)

    It might be your media. I know PS2s can be picky about discs. Look up the type in the media section. See what comments people have left.

    Then look up PS2 in Players section. See what works best with them.

    Next possibility - it could be Nero. Next - could be burn speed - reduce to lowest as a test.

    Best advice - always write to RW first. Keep that 'til you have a - or + that you know works.

    I have one too. The 1000. They play ANYTHING, so that's good for us, but not good for tests. :c)

  3. what software r you currently using and with what media are you using that software with, i know everybodies different but im a newbie to this and so you obviously have more of a clue than me

    What I use would be no use to you. :c( I don't backup DVDs. I make original productions.

    And I don't use Nero. I burn right from my authoring software. And my PS2 could be a different model than yours. I author DVDs in Ulead DVDWorkshop.

    That's why I suggest you check out the databases on the left. There's collected info from lots of people. Look for those that most closely match your procedure and what you use.
