okay is the question
i d/l and burn a movie like this to play in my dreamcast:
process:
AVI->MPEG->CDI(DJformat)
then i play my movie in my dreamcast selfbooting b/c its a discjuggler image
okay now the picture quality was bad
so i want to make one in svcd format
i know how but will i still be able to boot with my dc since it is a vcd
or do i use my ps2 since the svcd use a dvd player to play??
basically can my dc play svcds??

SVCDs would not work with a DC or a PS2. The DC program only works with VCD files and the PS2 just can't play VCDs or SVCDs.

If it can play VCD's it can play SVCD's? WTF kinda logic is that? a VCD is MPEG-1 and a SVCD is MPEG-2. Two entirely different codecs. I suppose if a car can run on gas it can run on deisel too, eh?

Ok guys...
Ive just filled my petrol tank up with diesel...
and it doesnt work.

I think that I will now waste my time on getting my record player to play CDs.
