First I'd like to say what an awesome product this is. I had tried for quite some time to find an easy way to do this and was successfully doing some batch processing but it was still a pain. When I found this program it fit all of those needs. Then I saw the + version. WOW! Pretty cool! I'm actually running my first author right now but I'm assuming it will work as billed since everything else has!
Anyway, I'd like to mention a couple of issues that I noticed and make a request.
1) Selecting/deselecting files on the Files tab doesn't seem to carry over to the author tab.
2) Load Menu doesn't want to work for me. I suspect part of this is because I can't find the menu def file but anything I select causes it to trap including CANCEL. Can be painful if you make a mistake in the menu and need to fix it, you have to redo the whole thing apparently.
3) It would be nice to be able to set a working directory or at least specify the destination as the working directory. I had all of the files on a maxed out drive and wanted to encode and author onto a different drive but I had to copy all of the files first. Once I delete those source files I'll be fine, but I think this would be a simple enhancement that might come in handy dealing with such large amounts of data.

I too agree that it is a great piece of software (even though I am still fighting issues with it, but working through them)
One thing that I'd like to see is if version number signifying changes could be made simpler... Wouldn't it be alot simpler to have xx.yy or xx.yy.zz instead of the current numbering system which looks like something representing PI??? I have the current version #'s written on paper as I can't remember them to save my life.....
Just my rant... maybe it's because it's Thursday and I'd rather be home.....

Thanks guys.
Some thoughts:
- build number is the automatic one generated when i compile. It is useful to me to be that granular as the application in quite fluid and can have several builds per day. Maybe when it calms down abit i can be less precise.
- if you change things in the "files" tab you need to press "update" in the "author" tab to propagate the changes.
- load menu is there more for my use (debugging) at the moment but you can use its. you just need to locate your menu def files.... (located in sub directories of C:\Documents and Settings\Chris\Local Settings\Application Data\Badgersoft\DVD MenuMaker\1.0.1369.21297 depending on your username & build)
- Different drives? See https://www.videohelp.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=667309#667309

OK, so I figured out the Update thing, it's a little awkward but I it works.
The author worked awesome!!!
I remembered one other request. It would be nice to be able to edit the text in the source and destination drives manually. Sometimes the UI to select a drive can take way too long to enumerate (not your problem). I'm a typer at heart anyway, the mouse is evil...
In any case, I remember not so long ago asking the question if this were possible and the answer was "yes, but it's really not worth the effort". I ignored that and tried it. That answer WAS right....but not anymore! I must reiterate, NICE JOB! I can finally clean up my HD!
