    Does anyone have a macrovision hack for this player that ASDA sells. It is multiregion out of the box.

    Have you tried the hacks for the 1000 and/or 1002?

    There are a lot there - maybe one of them will work...

    I have the 1000. Was not multi-region OOTB. But I can't remember which hack eventually worked. :c*

    I had to try them all and finally hit on the right one.

    This one worked on my 1002 from asda
    Press - Open, Clear, 4, 5, 6, 1, 0, Close to remove the macro. (leave about 1 sec between presses)
    GUI for Ac3fix + Various tips for joining ac3/subs + force subs in dvdlab
    Divx 2 DVD and resizing with Mainconcept
