  1. Right guys, I'm just about to burn a 70 minutes video onto VCD.
What's the best way to split it so that I can change scene's when I play it on my DVD player?
I can use 'Easy Video Splitter' to split the video into 14 equal parts (which are 5 minute's each), but I'm just wondering whether there's a program out there that can split a video more accurately (i.e. it detects scene changes and splits it there) into chapter's...?

  2. You do NOT want to spilt your MPEG up into multiple tracks. There will be a noticable pause between each track and you can only cut MPEGs at I-frames.

Better to author the MPEG to VCD using a program that can add entrypoints. Entrypoints function the same as chapter points (more or less). There are several programs that can do this, but VCDImager is the preferred choice. It's a command line program so most prefer to use a GUI for it: VCD Easy or TSCV.

Check the author guides to the left.
