  1. What is the best video format to put on the web? I want it to load fast and I want the size to be small.
I have a clip in mpeg and 2 clip in wmv.

  3. Divx or xvid for the best quality/compression ratio, but it would require the person downloading to have the codec instaled to be able to view the file.

Flash is another option. Supposedly more people use that any other single "helper" app. If you can believe statistics. :c)
    There's no place like 127.0.0.1

Divx gives good quality, but mpeg1 would be a good universal format as well. Windows media player will play those without any extra codecs I believe.

I vote Quicktime using standard codecs. Best bang for your buck.

  8. I think you would need a program to make them into a rm file then embed that into your web html file.
