dvd shrink with menus but no special features

Im kinda new to all this ripping stuff. I downloaded dvd shrink and like the way it works. But when I go to reAuther mode can I get rid of the special features and keep the menu's. It has not worked for me yet. When I put the movie in it kinda jumps right past the menu. Can someone please help me.

I'm sorry to disapoint you, but that is impossible

The best (?) and easiest way I have found to do this is with AnyDVD and CloneDVD. If you search the guide archive you will find a tutorial.

It is not impossible. First thing I would do is read some guides in the GUIDES section on the left. There are a few guides there that will run you through various tools to get you what you want.

DVDShrink on it's own will not completely get rid of all the content and keep the menus. The best you can do in that scenario is to shrink down all the extras to stills.

What I have been doing recently is to drag the menu over to where you normally drag the movie. Shrink will convert it to a mini movie. Crop anything that is too long, etc. Then drag over the movie.

You won't be able to hit any buttons or anything but the intro will play. It is a very crude way of authoring but I've been very pleased with the results.

Sometimes the intro is kinda cool and worth keeping.

seeing as jcschwartz1997 just wants movie+ menu there is my FLASH guide showing how to get rid of all the other content HERE or a normal guide HERE

if you need some blank NTSC VOB's just give me a shout as I'm sure I have some somewhere

as to what is best, I guess it's a matter of opinion but I'm forever using different methods to suit the DVD so I don't have a best
