I'm having problems with this one. I used dvd decrypter to rip and IC7 for the shrinking. But after setting everything to start shrinking, IC7 stops while doing the last of the 5 video test phase and winxp pro window pops up saying that the proggie needs to close.
I've done 4 movies and this is the first one to give an error. Please help.
I have tried with dvd shrink but somehow, the files it creates are not visible to nero or other burning software. I really like IC, so I want to keep using it. I'm not sure if there's something to do with this movie, because I did others with no problem.
If u need more info please let me know. Thx in advance!
WinXP pro SP1, P4 2.53, 512ram, 120GB HD, HP DVD300i.

this is a known issue with IC7 and it's probably because of the dark scene
what version of IC are you running? -
mackemX, It's IC 7.0.0.102, setup 0043 Came with suite.
I'll probably have to upgrade right? Is this bug fixed in current version?
I was wondering if there was an official release lately.
I guess I'll have to use dvd shrink and imgtool for now until this is fixed. I prefer IC.
Thx for ur reply. -
Why not just ditch that crap program, and go with the best, DVD Shrink!!! DA DA DA DAAAAA!!!!!!!!!

I haven’t tried IC7, but….
I just backed up LOTR_FOTR a couple of nights ago. I just got Dvd2one and was excited to give it a try. I used DVD decrypter to rip the files and then Ifoedit to remove the layer break. I then ran it through Dvd2one and was pleased with the results, but thought I would run it through DVD shrink v3 b5 just to compare quality and the results were so close as to be indistinguishable. I chose the DVD shrink version and burned with Nero V5.5.10.42
I like Dvd2one but cannot recommend it, because DVD shrink IMHO is just as good and it is free. I suppose you could say Dvd2one is easier, but DVD shrink is pretty easy too so that’s kind of a wash.
