The ATI MMC Reg Tool is very helpful, thanks goes out to the people
behind it. I'm posting to ask if anyone has noticed or can shed some
light a bug I've just encountered.

First, some background info...

I create a custom profile in MMC, let's say with a bitrate = 2.5 then
I record a :15 clip using the DigitalVCR. The resulting MPEG is not
seen as VCD compliant in Nero. When I play the MPEG with either the
MMC or Windows Media Player the duration of the clip is displayed
correctly as :15 just as I'd recorded it.

Now for the MMC Reg Tool...

Since the clip above is not seen as VCD compliant in Nero, I want to
use the MMC Reg Tool to modify the VCD Bit Value. So I run the MMC
Reg Tool, choose to edit my custom profile, change the VCD Bit Value
from 0 to 1, and update the settings. Then I record a :15 clip with
the DigitalVCR.

The resulting MPEG is now seen as VCD compliant in Nero. However,
when I play the file with the MMC or Windows Media Player the
duration of the clip is incorrectly displayed as :30.

The incorrect display of time seems to also relate to the bitrate. If
I raise the bitrate on my profile = 5 and keep the VCD Bit Value = 1,
a :15 clip is shown as 1:00.

I can also go back and set the VCD Bit Value = 0 and the incorrect
time display problem goes away, but the file is no longer seen as
VCD compliant in Nero, which defeats the purpose even of using the
MMC Reg Tool in the first place.

Any workaround, comments, or insight on this would be appreciated.

Thanks, - Tomer
