    I bought a brand new Sony DVD Dream System DAV-FR9 and it won't play any burned media. Does anyone else have this problem? Is there any way to fix it? The people at Sony Support are completely useless. I've tried +r, -r and even cdr and got nothing. Thanks.

    I'm sorry you had to wait two months for a reply! I own a stand-alone Sony DVD/SACD player that as far as I know should play burned media just fine, although I haven't tested it. Did you finalize the discs? What software did you use to burn them?
