Errors in Ulead DVD Workshop

When burning VCDs in Ulead DVD Workshop 2, on almost every attempt the burn fails, with the error message being either something like "failed to write to disk..." or alternatively "generic error from cd-r device...".

Does anyone know what the prob is? I'm wasting hella cd-rs!!!

Don't burn with WS
just get it to make the files and burn with what came with your drive

Yes workshop is crap for burning. I use it to generate an ISO file and burn that with Nero.

Just to clarify, are you really using Ulead DVD MovieFactory 2?

I ask because I don't believe Ulead DVD Workshop 2 is available.

If you've managed to find an early release, I'd be interested to learn more about it.

I called ULead about this. All they'll tell me is that the next version is coming out sometime in the 4th quarter.
