    I want to go from wmv to mpeg 1, but how do i check the framerate to see if the wmv source is PAL or NTSC?

    I learned from somewhere, perhaps AVISynth docs, asf and wmv streams don't require to have a frame rate. They will assume the frame rate you assign to them...
