When I capture TV as an MPEG2 file, the file plays fine and in synch, but when I burn it to DVD it's several seconds out of synch. I have tried reprocessing the file in TMPGEnc, but this doesn't help. Have also tried demultiplexing -- but to no avail. Is there any way to produce a DVD which plays in sync?

Having similar problems. Have some captured AVI files that get converted to MPEG ok - but when authored to a folder, the sound is out of synch. I have an AMD XP 2000+, 756Mb RAM, 220Gb total hard drives. I ensure that all non-essential apps are closed down.
Help any one ?
