Hello, I tried to play a DVD+RW (Philips and Fuji) made on a Philips DVDR 990, no success comment of Sony Player NO DISC.
In the Compatibility List it says it should play this media, and DVD+R made with the same Recorder just plays fine.
Any Suggestions what I should do, any help for me ?
Thanks Banshee

@tompika
I already did this bitsetting change, but it does not work for my Sony DVD Player. The Compatibility List on this Website says that my Sony should play DVD+RW without changing the Bitsetting, but I think my Player does not know this List.
Somebody told me the Reflexion of the DVD+RW is not good enough for the Sony, so maybe is should use other (better ?) RW`s, but which ????
Greetings from Vienna Banshee -
Yeah, reflectivity can be an issue but my PHILIPS 010 (not 001) and Memorex(RICOHJPNW01) play in any players. (burned in Ricoh writer)
Try other +RW medias.
Philips standalone recorders have too many problems.You stop me again whilst I'm walking and I'll cut your fv<king Jacob's off.
