  1. Just a quick question,

Just about to use Sefy's template on a DVD movie

Which of his templates should I use:

    NTSC or NTSCFilm

I'm not sure what the difference is?

Also is his SxVCD or SeVCD better?

  2. From my own personal experience, I prefer SxVCD, but that is mostly cause my DVD Player can play both, and I prefer the flexibility of MPEG2, SeVCD is mostly for those who can't use the SxVCD, as it uses MPEG1 and is more compatible.

If you are doing NTSC movies, use the NTSC Template, if you are doing an NTSCfilm, then use the NTSCfilm, that's why i've created all versions of the Templates, so you can have one for each task.

Diffrences between Sx and Se is the compression type used, Sx uses MPEG2 VBR, and Se uses MPEG1 VBR.

  5. Tony Yip, yup, you could use the NTSCfilm Template, it should work ok.

tvman, I don't know which obsolete ones you are talking about, but they should be available on the OTHER / TOOLS section.
