  1. Anyone had trouble creating chapter stops on certain VOB files within DVD Lab? I had this issue when attempting to bring a scene from Bull Durham over to a 'compilation' project I was trying to create. When I set my point and click on the 'plus' a chapter simply will not appear the way it so far has with every other VOB file I have ripped (with DVD Decrypter) and brought in (via DVD Lab's 'demuxing' process). Any ideas?

Also, on 2 of my other clips, I WAS able to set a chapter stop up successfully but, when I setup one of my menu buttons to start playing at the point of the chapter stop, it starts from from the beginning of the VOB file instead. Weird thing is it DID work fine on 2 OTHER clips (starting from the point of the chapter), but a few simply won't listen and just start at the beginning of the VOB clip rather than at the point of the chapter. Anyone else had these issues?

  2. I've had the same problem with the VOB before, and to get around that I demuxed the VOB and loaded the elementary streams into the MOVIE window, then added the chapters that way.

Can't help with the other question, as I have not run into that issue.

  3. Weird... what's happening (somehow) is that, when demuxing the VOB file that was ripped from my DVD, sometimes the resulting MPV and AC3 files are corrupt in some, small way. It always happens to the same files and happens in the same way. I've been able to use AC3FIX.EXE to correct any AC3 files that get messed up, but what will happen to certain MPV files is what I have mentioned above. You can use DVD Lab to bring the MPV files and even burn a DVD successfully, but you are unable to create chapter stops because something is wrong with the MPV. TMPGEnc, for example, won't even open the MPV file properly (it shows me like 17 frames and nothing else, yet reads the "premuxed" VOB file fine.

So my question (in desperation) comes down to this... is there a utility (like AC3FIX.EXE) that can assist me with patching the MPV file back together and getting it to work with chapter stops the same way AC3FIX.EXE 'corrected' whatever was causing some of my clips to turn out with no audio?
