  1. hi. would greatly appreciate your advice...
am considering getting a canopus advc50 or
canopus advc100 to convert vhs to dvd.

would you recommended these, and when yes, which one
    would be best?

    many thanks!

  2. I use the 100 and am very pleased with it. No sync problems and no Macrovision.

    Hi sneakers180
I have the 100 myself and am more than happy with it.
Its a great peace of kit, never ever caused me any audio sync problems at all.

  5. HI,

I felt that I did not need the de-macrovision or the external ADVC100 and went with the 50. It was a $200AUD saving too (for me at least).

    Cheers,

To no surprise, I am a happy owner of the ADVC 100. Great piece of hardware, no complaints.

I am very pleased with my ADVC-50. However, I now wish I had spent the extra money for the ADVC-100 because of the de-macrovision feature.
Either way, Canopus makes a great product.

Hi, yes, i'm too a happy ADVC100 user, you don't have to clean up
the result, most of the time, it's perfect no sync problems, because it's locked, you shouldn't buy anything else, wish i new this earlier, then
i hadn't spent any money some expensive lousy capture card...
    Thanks,

    Yodel
