i ve so many problems to make dvd
here what i use (full process to make my dvds):
1. virtual dub to capture avi files from Tv satellite (uncompressed Avi)
2. Frame serve with avs file between Premiere and CCE v2.67
3. i save the audio from my avi file with Premiere (.wav 48OOOhz for dvd)
4. set up CCE like in the doom9 guide:
Mode: MPEG-2 (ES, One-pass CBR)
bitrate: 9500kbits/sec
Video Settings

Gob sequence: M=3 N/M=4
checked the box Add sequence end code
checked DVd compliant
(after all settings default)
Detailed Settings
===========
Flat part priority to 30
Intra block DC to 10
Scanning to Alternate
unchecked the progressive frame flag
i ve tried to burn with my dvd burner (Pioneer 106D)
with brand dvdr + and - (verbatim, imation, memorex...)
Authoring
======
with dvdlab
Burn
====
Nero ISo/UDF= Dvdr +/- do not work on my standalone dvd players (a panasonic dvdL10 and a bluesky)
Img Tool + Nero= do not work
Img Tool + Dvd decrypter= jerky play, a bug (sound and frames freezing) each 8/11secs
I ve tried many others process to burn with Nero, Dvdlab, Dvd decrypter, Img Burn and different speed to burn.
Otherwise these dvdrs work on my dvd burner with Power DVD.
Still the SAME RESULTS!!! when the dvd works on my standalone dvd (not always) i get a jerky play, freeze sound and video.
Please help Me!

try lowering your bitrate - some dvd players will have problems with dvdr's that have video bitrates over 8000.
actually, now that I look at your setup - I'm pretty sure that wav audio is 1,536 kbs, so you have 9500 kbs for video + 1,536 kbs for audio = 11,036 kbs.
dvd spec only allows 10,080 kbs - you're going over the maximum allowable bitrate.
try lowering your encoding bitrate to 8,000 for video and see what happens.- housepig
