  1. Hi there,

I'm kinda new to this stuff, so I would be glad for any help.

I have a couple of videos (mpgs) which dont match to the vcd or svcd format: 720*576,25fps,6000kps

I would like burn them to a cd-rom with a proper menue, but I also would
    like keep the actual quality

Do you have any suggestions how to realise that

    Thanks for your help

Most DVD players will not accept a DVD on CD, which is what you are asking about. It's also sometimes referred to as mini-dvd. Do a search for more info but you likely won't find a guide as it is not a format that works.

You'll have to convert it to SVCD format then author (with menu), then burn. All steps are covered in the appropriate sections of this site.

    Good luck!

  3. Hi,

I will try to make a miniDVD then, maybe my player is able to handle it. Till now I never had any problems to read any disks, it's a cyberhome 402.

If it don't work, I think I have to convert my files to svcd how you mentioned.

    Thx in anyway

  4. Hi again,

ok, i have made a miniDVD now and my player is also playing it.
But there is one remaining problem. The picture does not fit on the
TV screen. It is just the inner part of the video visible. Looks like
    zoomed in.
I have made the mininDVD with Video Deluxe 2003. It is a kinda
easy and a nice tool so far, except that result.

Any ideas what I can do ?
