Hi,
Just for the fun of it I thought I'd create a mini DVD in Nero 5.5 (after reading a how-to on this site). Creation works like a charm.
The mini DVD plays fine on my PC. However, on mystandalone (CyberHome CH-402) it is recognized as a mini-DVD, but both the image and the sound move in "shocks", or stutter or hiccup![]()
I tried both a CD-RW and a CD-R of brands that have always payed fine in mystandalone (audio, VCDand SVCD).
Any pointers would be greatly appreciated.
Frank

How many kbps you used?
Most standalone DVD players can read CDs up to 2500-3000 kbps.
If you go higher than this you'll probably have problems.
CD-ROM and DVD-ROM drives usually can read faster than this. -
Hi Fabricio,
Ah... I wasn't aware of differences in speeds of DVD-ROM drives and standalones. That would indeed account for the problems I have.
I use Nero 5.5.x.x for making the mini DVD, so I'll probably have to take a look at the settings in Nero (or look at another program to make my mini DVD).
Thanks so far. I'll go and do some more homework first.
