  1. Recently I had moved my tv and the picture got all these scribbly lines running through it. I thought maybe it was going bad and it is still under warranty so I called circuit city and they came out. Well the guy said it was just some adjustment and he got his little screwdriver out and did something in the back of the tv and it looked fine...almost.
    It's an RCA 31 inch and I got it last year...I gotta find what model it is...
    Anyways, later after the guy left I noticed there are two little holes labeled F and S or some such lettering and that is where he did his little adjustments...I want to know if i can tweak it a bit more with the use of these little adjusters and how to do it...I noticed that after he left there are some vertical black bands that werent there before so maybe he didnt quite get the best picture.

  2. F=Focus
    S=Sharpness
    P=Picture
    I had to adjust my 32" Philips because they must of dropped it somewhere between Mexico and my house.I took a drill and made two holes in the chassis to access the pots,which is rediculous because my 20 year old 25" RCA has them on the back.
    It sounds like the electron gun is out of alignment,you might give roundabout a PM he used to be a tech.

  4. I dont know what the lines are called (they looked like scribbles all over the screen and the overall picture was bright as hell), but the tech guy said something about the brightness level... He said that what he did was not actually covered on the warranty because I 'messed' with it, but I told him I just moved the stupid thing and thats what happend. He fixed it anyways but I don't think he did as best as he could since he wasnt supposed to do it anyway. SO, I thought maybe I would give her a shot.
