  1. hi
i've used moviemaker2 to edit my holiday footage.it's saved as a moviemaker file.I have sonic my dvd and showbiz (came with the pc) and a dvd+ dvd200i writer.
How can i get the sonic programs to recognise the moviemaker project file and open it up (or can't i?)do i have to somehow convert it to an avi or mpeg2 file first ,or can the sonic programs do it for me.It all seams somewhat vague - as you can tell i'm a total newbie!
does the moviemaker2 software give me the option to save the project as anything other than a wmv file?
help would be a god send , as the amount od dvd+r's and time wasted is getting on my nerves.
    cheers

I don't use MM2, so I can't help there, but one other little Godsend is rewriteable disks. Get a couple for testing and you'll save yourself a lot of money in the longrun. :c)

There are programs that can convert wmv files. Look in the tools section and search, although it would not be very high quality starting off with wmv. You should explore some other capture options. Loads of info in TOOLS and GUIDES.

    Good luck. Have fun.
    There's no place like 127.0.0.1

MM2 will let you save as AVI. You have to go into custom export settings.
