    I took the sample VOB sets from this site that have samples to test PAL/NTSC and Pan&Scan compatibility...my question is...is it possible to author those samples so that they are all on one dvd, accessible by a menu depending on which format u are testing for? what application would u recommend to do such a task?

    There might be applications that support this, but it's NOT legal within the DVD standard. A disc is either NTSC or PAL. I suggest you buy DVD-RW/DVD+RW discs for test purposes, hence lowering the cost for tests.

    i tried it in DVD-Lab and it worked just fine. however i could not get a mix of 4:3 and 16:9 movies on the same dvd...i guess thats a question for a different thread. not sure if its a limitation of dvd-lab or the dvd spec.
