toshiba 3107(playing vcds)

i have this dvd player i know its old but i like it any way has any one sucessfuly played a cd-r or cd-rw on this player if you have what make of disc did you use please.

By sheer luck, the first cdrw I tried on my 3107b was my mate's TRAXDATA's (not the x2 speed-they don't read at all). I think they were x4 and they worked perfectly, but are very hard to find. I've had no luck with numerous other brands. I'll let you know where he gets his from when I next speak to him. Don't give up on this player just yet!
