  3. Ok, I am wanting to start copying dvd's. I only want the movie and one 5.1 english audio track. Chapters would be nice. I have read alot and dvd2one with movie only feature, seems to be the best. Is there a better way? Also what about 4.7 gig disks? Thanks.

EDIT: Also on a burning software. I don't care what it is, just that I can take dvd, take just the movie and audio (splitting is fine, I want perfect quality) and easy burning. Thanks.

  4. Ok, first, if you haven't already, then do alot of searching and reading

We just had a nice long 3 page thread going about DVDshrink 3beta 5 and how great this is working for some of us. And it's free!

    Try it!

My sugestion, take a DVD and use DVDshrink 3beta 5 and make a full disk backup. Maybe do a 3 hr DVD
Then see if you can actually tell any real difference between the original disk and the backup. I did Lord Of the Rings Fellowship, 3hr movie, full disk backup and I could not tell the difference! I also did Two towers another 3hr lord of the rings movie. Just glanced at it so far, but looked great! I have not watched that movie yet other than to make sure my disk worked!

Use your favorite program to burn with, I used nero because that's what another person was using that had problems. Mine worked perfect for me.

If you want to do a movie only it does that too, and either way you only have to keep the audio you want and can get rid of the others.

This is the only program I have used and just started ripping a couple days ago. 6 or more perfect rip and burns already for me. 2 were 3 hr movies! On one disk! Full backup on all.

I don't want to split disks, but it might do that also if you want to?

Now I know 6 or 8 DVDs does not sound like alot, but I never ripped before! I was just trying to see why someone else was having problems and help them. All my rips were in like 2 days with a program I never saw before! Burned on 1x disks at an hr each! And I had other things to do too!
DVDshrink is fast itself, I think about 30-45 minutes to rip the 3hr movie DVDs and compress to one DVD-r and I see no loss!

    Your mileage may vary [/url]
