Well I'm not new at this but definately still learning, my main question is... is there any way to get 5.1 DD sound on a SVCD?
I am very happy with the video quality i am getting after reading damn near every guide and experimenting with settings myself but the audio leaves something to be desired. I have extracted the AC3 audio from .vob files and multiplexed it into the .mpg file. I can play it on my computer through media player but when the file is split or when I tried to burn it to a cd the audio is lost. (when burning to a cd the audio is lost weather trying to play on computer or standalone DVD player... btw Nero is used)
I can make the AC3 into a multichannel wav but that ends up being 4-8 gigs. (and im still not sure if that gives me 5.1 cuz i havent actually been succesful in using one in the final mpg.)
so aside from my main question, if it is possible to get 5.1 in a SVCD, can an AC3 file be used?
probably many more questions to come (just registered heh) but these r frustrating me the most.
Thanks in advance.
