I recently downloaded Camtasia Studio to screen capture action scenes from my ZSNES SNES Emulator games. When I come to capture, the sound starts popping and the video is jittery. I set hardware acceleration to full because the game is dependant on DirectDraw. When I set the options to disable hardware acceleration when capturing with camtasia, DirectDraw is disabled, and there is no game to capture. When hardware acceleration is enabled, the video is jittery, and the audio just starts popping like crazy. No matter how I try to adjust the capture framerate, or no matter what capture codec I use, I have this problem. When I decrease the resoultion of my game window, capture is only slightly so better, but at 256X224, it's still jittery as hell. Decreasing hardware acceleration just enough to enable DirectDraw still has a minimal effect. I doubt that my hardware is insuitable, and please see my pc specs below. Please, any advice as to what settings to change or what software to use and links would be greatly appreciated.![]()
