  1. I can playback my movies on Windows Media player but when I try to open them in TMPGenc it says they are unsupported. They come with the extension [TcS] T.S.

    What do I need to open them in TMPGenc so that I can encode them.

    Probably some codec, and setting your priority of DirectShow Multimedia Reader to the highest value (right click and choose Higher priority)

    those may be transport stream mpegs .. you have to convert the transport stream to program stream or de-multiplex them to elem. streams ..

    tmpgenc will not import transport streams as far as i know ..
