  1. Anyone know of any software that is capable of treating a DVD as a floppy disk. ie like Adaptecs DirectCD for CDs ?

    I know that NOrton ghost can make a backup dvd bootable. Have you looked to see if nero has an option?

    He\She is talking about something different.
    DVD-RAM will work like a floppy drive. I use it for just that purpose.
    If your drive supports it - use it.

    Record now has packet writing for RW disks, but I have -RAM so I don't use it.
    Hope is the trap the world sets for you every night when you go to sleep and the only reason you have to get up in the morning is the hope that this day, things will get better... But they never do, do they?
