Ok dvd rip of planet of the apes.
At the start it is out off sync as avi. When played on computer it catches itself up very quickly before any speaking begins. I thought "ok" so tried to convert to vcd but it's well out and does not correct itself.
Some one mention source range in tmpgnc which looks ok but you can't really test it with out encoding some, which could take for ever. Is there a quick easy way to sort this out?
Please advise

100% of all problems I have had with converting movies were all out of sync problems. There is a Nobel Prize out there waiting for the person that solves this problem. There are a few tips on things you can try, but it aint easy.
I posted a thread about it (search for it by using my nick), and I had a solution that worked for me. The person below had another solution that worked for him.
Quick way when it comes to converting, that's an Utopia!!
