Ok I just took the plunge and bought a Pioneer DVR-106D from AVlogic for 159.49 shipped. This seemed like the best deal all around for a multi format drive.
What advice do you old salts have to offer me in choice of media, software, and general techniques? I want use it for HD Image Data Backup and Movies. Can I just get fairly inexpensive media for backup and hd image and use good quality media for movies or should I use good quality media for both
I am looking to minimize the coaster making and maximize my success.
Will be burning movies to the apex 1100w and phillips 711 home dvd players as well as possibly 2 toshiba players that I don't know the model number.
