  1. I have a AVI file (frame size 352x240) encoded at 14.985 fps.
I would like to turn this into a SVCD, using AVI2SVCD, but it changes to 29.97 fps and as you can guess plays back at twice the speed. How can I convert the AVI to SVCD or VCD if easier.
Any help would be much appreciated.

  2. All NTSC video must have a framerate of 29.97fps (aside 23.976fps films are telecided to 29.97fps). So there's really no way around this. I've had some luck using TMPGenc to encode 'odd framerate' AVIs, but much like all the PAL/NTSC converison posts changing framerates is not an easy process.

You MIGHT be able to get AVISynth 'assumefps' command to produce a watchable encode...

  3. Encode it to ntsc with TMPGEnc it should not speed it up it should insert the extra frames via duplication.
